The underlying idea of this website consists in providing a place to collate and translate biographical material of Galois life. But I think there should be a biography present as well. I am writing a biography, which will appear as a book some time later. What is included here is not equivalent to this book, though it is fueled by it. The book will be by far more detailed and with all the necessary references.
